Established in 1934, the Scottish Squash Rackets Club (SSRC) stands as Scotland’s oldest private squash club and a pillar of the squash community in the West of Scotland. Known for its exceptional facilities and welcoming atmosphere, SSRC is open 24/7, offering players access to the courts anytime, day or night.
What SSRC Has to Offer
- Top-Tier Facilities: With four bright, newly refurbished courts, SSRC ensures that players experience the best playing conditions, whether they’re competing, training, or playing socially. Courts are available to book 24/7 for only £4 per hour.
- Mini Leagues & Local Competition: Members can join our active mini leagues, compete in local leagues, and enjoy a variety of competitive and social games, including racketball and table tennis.
- Training & Coaching: SSRC proudly coaches over 150 children from 8 local primary schools, fostering the next generation of squash players. Each Thursday, we host inclusive training sessions for all skill levels, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., with free beginner-to-intermediate coaching for members.
- Community Events & Social Play: The club brings together players of all ages and abilities, promoting a strong community spirit. Join us for tournaments, social events, and regular club updates on SSRC’s website and social media platforms.
Special Membership Offer
Become a part of SSRC with thier introductory membership at £180 for the first year, with no joining or cancellation fees. Preferential rates are available for students as well, making it even easier to get involved in our vibrant squash community.
